New Delhi : Rahul Gandhi has finally revealed why is wearing only white T shirts even in the scorching heat and also chilling winter conditions during his Bharat Jodo Yatra. The politician has been several times targeted for wearing just the T shirts during chilling winter in Delhi. But, now he has finally revealed what is the motive behind him ditching the sweaters and roaming around in chilling weather.

He also gave a 3 girls theory behind his decision to ditch sweaters in chilling conditions.

"People often ask me why I wear only white T shirt and don’t feel cold. Today, I will tell you the real reason. When the yatra began, in Kerala it was hot and humid but when we reached Madhya Pradesh, it was slightly cold. 

"One day 3 poor girls came in torn clothes to me when I held their hands they were shivering in cold. Because they were not wearing proper clothes, that day I took a decision that I will not wear any sweater till the time I will also start shivering," Mr Gandhi said during your address at a street corner meeting in Haryana’s Ambala.

In the address, Mr Gandhi also said that he wants to give a loud message to those girls that "he will start feeling cold only when they will feel cold."

Earlier Mr Gandhi had claimed that the media is busy in investigating his clothes but are not taking charge and discussing about the labourers and farmers were walking on roads in town clothes.

Currently, Bharat Jodo Yatra headed by Rahul Gandhi is passing through Haryana. 

The yatra had started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7th, 2022 and it will end in Srinagar on January 30th, 2023 with Rahul Gandhi hosting the national flag there. 

The march has so far passed through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
