Mangaluru : Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha's dead body has been found two days after he had gone missing from Mangaluru.

"A body has been found which appears to be of Cafe Coffee Day owner VG Siddhartha," Sasikanth Senthil, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

According to the police, he was supposed to go to Sakaleshpur, but on his way he asked his driver to change the route and head towards Mangaluru.

"After reaching a bridge over Netravati River, he asked his driver to stop the car and told him that he is going for a walk. He asked his driver to wait until his return, but he never came back. The driver then approached the police and filed missing report," deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Senthil Sasikant Senthil told PTI.

Hours after his missing report, a letter has emerged out on the social media with the signature of VG Siddhartha. In the letter (authenticity needs to be checked), he has mentioned that he had good intentions but failed as an entrepreneur.
