CM Arvind Kejriwal announces return of Odd-Even days in Delhi

  • New Delhi : Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced date that will mark return of Odd-Even days in Delhi.

  • The Odd-Even formula will be re-implemented in the national capital from April 15.

  • Delhi government’s decision came after mining huge volumes of feedback, which majorly supported return of Odd-Even system to tackle pollution.

  • Again it will be implemented for 15 days, Kejriwal announced in a press conference.

  • Women drivers and bikes will once again be exempted from it.

  • As per survey 81 per cent people voted in favour of the formula. Delhi government had asked residents to share their view on this via phone calls or a website.

  • Addressing public transport issue in the national capital, Kejriwal also announced 1000 new DTC buses in May and more 2000 buses by the end of the year.

  • Kejriwal government will complete its one year tenure in Delhi on Sunday and Kejirwal will interact with people over phone for 2 hours at a stadium.
