Congress releases new poster for INDIA, Arvind Kejriwal replaces Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi : Congress released a poster showcasing Rahul Gandhi leading the INDIA alliance, the move was later criticized by the so-called alliance partners. Now, the party has deleted the old poster and replaced it with a new one with pictures of Chief Ministers from Opposition-ruled states. In the latest poster, picture of Rahul Gandhi was removed and replaced with Chief Ministers from Opposition-ruled states including that of AAP supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Check out the new poster below:

On August 30, the Congress Party stirred the battle against NDA as they released a poster showcasing prominent leaders of the opposition bloc. The poster released earlier showcased Rahul Gandhi leading the bloc, skipping AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal from the poster.

Notably, the alliance poster released by the Congress party features images of several leaders – Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Hemant Soren, Mallikarjun Kharge, Uddhav Thackeray and Sitaram Yechury among others. Conspicuously, Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal are missing from the alliance poster.

The poster was changed after alliance member Uddhav Thackeray registered their displeasure on it and threatened that they would tear the poster if it reached Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Shezad Poonawala pointed out in social media that there is no Arvind Kejriwal, showing the cohesiveness of the opposition alliance.

Later, Congress party removed the poster from all social media platforms and replaced it with a new one.
