Cops find 3 letters, one plots 'Rajiv Gandhi-type incident' for PM Modi
New Delhi : The nation is under threat as police found three letters including one which suggests a Maoist plot to execute a "Rajiv Gandhi-type incident" as well as a plan to "end the Modi-raj".
A senior police officer said the three letters were part of the documents and electronic proofs found in the April month during the probe conducted by the Pune police at different locations in Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune in connection with the speeches made during the Elgar Parishad at Shaniwarwada here, a day before the clashes at Koregaon Bhima.
The officers scrutinized these documents and on June 6, arrested five people who are allegedly linked to the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) — Rona Wilson from Delhi, Sudhir Dhawale from Mumbai and Surendra Gadling, Soma Sen and Mahesh Raut from Nagpur.
Pune police mentioned that the letter mentioning the "Rajiv Gandhi-type incident" was recovered from Wilson during the searches in Delhi. While the letter is addressed to "Comrade Prakash" by one "R", there is no communication yet from senior police officers as to whether they have established who has written the letter and who has received it. Also, it was not known whether the letter purportedly recovered from Wilson was a printout, email or data from a hard disk.

The police officer said the letter raises concern over the Modi-led government and over BJP establishing governments in more than 15 states, and that "this could mean trouble" for the Communist Party of India (Maoist)
