New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning informed that he will be addressing the nation again on Tuesday (March 24) evening at 8 pm.

During his second address over novel coronavirus, he will be talking on vital aspects relating to the menace of COVID-19.

"Will address the nation at 8 PM today, 24th March 2020, on vital aspects relating to the menace of COVID-19," PM Modi wrote on Twitter.

The announcement comes after reports from several areas where people were seen violating the lockdown that has been imposed to stop the spread of novel coronavirus.

On Monday morning, PM Narendra Modi noted the act and asked people to stay indoors and follow the directives by the Central and State Government. He also urged state authorities to ensure the lockdown is properly followed.

"People are not taking the lockdown properly. Kindly save yourself and your family; follow the guidelines with sincerity and responsibly. I request all the state authorities to ensure that people follow guidelines," PM Modi tweeted in Hindi.

Earlier, PM Modi had addressed the nation on Thursday, asking people to go for Janta curfew and express gratitude to the health workers.
