Coronavirus: Shaheen Bagh protest continues with five people, other follow Janta Curfew

New Delhi : On the day when India held Janta curfew to break the chain of spreading coronavirus, Shaheen Bagh continued their protest against the CAA with just five women sitting on the protest site on behalf of everyone.

Meanwhile, other protesters left their slippers to mark their solidarity with the protest.

Here is how the pictures from the protest site were shared on the social media.

However, there were no protesters due to Janta curfew, it has been mentioned that they will return soon massively to the protest site.

It has been over three months since, the protesters have been sitting at the Shaheen Bagh road demanding removal of NRC and CAA.

Earlier, there were reports that they will not be moving from the site and instead provide hand sanitizers and masks to the people sitting there.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the nation and urged everyone to take part in Janta curfew on March 22 (Sunday), to break the chain of spreading Covid 19 in India.
