Delhi: Airport Metro fare slashed by 40 per cent, effective from Thursday

DMRC on Thursday decided to slash the Airport Metro fare by 40 per cent
The minimum fare of the route has also been reduced to Rs 20, which was earlier Rs 30
The maximum fare has come down to Rs 100 than Rs 180
The operating frequency of the trains have also been changed
Instead of 15 minutes gap, trains will now be boarded in the interval of 10 minutes and 30 seconds
The maximum speed of train has been increased to 80 KMPH from 70 KMPH
As a result, travel time from New Delhi to IGI has come down to 19 minutes
All the mentioned benefits will be effective from Thursday
