Patna : Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has shown his support to Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar, over his recent remark on population control via women education. The BJP and other parties have been demanding strict action against CM Nitish Kumar over his remarks. But, Tejashwi Yadav has cleared that it was in regards of the sex education, and it should not be misinterpreted.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also slammed Jitan Ram Manjhi; CM said, "Jitan Manjhi has been claiming that he was once the Chief Minister of Bihar. But, it was not because of his talent, because of my stupidity."

BJP MLAs protested in Delhi; Mr Kumar said Jitan Ram Manjhi wants to become the governor of Bihar? And BJP should oblige him with that.

The Bihar Assembly was later adjourned for the day after the house passed pills that raised reservation in government jobs and educational institution for SCs, STs, EBCs and OBCs from 50% to 65%.

Meanwhile, Jitan Ram Manjhi has warned of lodging a complaint against CM Nitish Kumar with the governor and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah. He has also demanded Bihar should get the president’s rule.

Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has come into defence again as he downplayed Nitish Kumar's controversial population remark as "sex education".

"The CM has never uttered any anti-Dalit word... Such language is seen in the BJP. I should not mention much, there is no gain in recalling the past... The way leaders of the BJP use derogatory language against my father, and my entire family, is it hidden? Should I bring it on record? In politics, such allegations are exchanged... But we should focus on positive works," he said.
