Dr. K.A. Paul Demands his friend Trump Halt Indian Deportations, asks PM Modi for support

New Delhi : The global peace ambassador and a key campaigner of Trump Dr. K.A. Paul hosted a press conference today at Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi, addressing the concerns of millions of Indians living in the United States. During the event, Dr. Paul discussed his recent letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to halt the deportation of undocumented Indian immigrants and grant them special status like special support for Israel.

Dr. Paul, who actively campaigned for President Trump in both the 2016 and 2024 elections, emphasized the significant role of Indian voters in 7 key swing states and their continued support for the Republican leader. He reassured Indian residents, visa holders (H1, B1, B2), and the undocumented workers that they should not worry about potential policy changes under Trump’s leadership. He urged Trump to recognize the contributions of approximately 800,000 undocumented Indian workers in the U.S. and take measures to protect them, highlighting their integral role in the American economy and society.

Speaking about the broader geopolitical landscape, Dr. Paul underscored India’s strategic importance to the U.S. in countering global threats from China, North Korea, and Iran. He pointed out that Indian voters played a decisive role in crucial swing states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina, further solidifying India's significance in U.S. elections and foreign policy. He also voiced his strong opposition to any attempts to revoke birthright citizenship, reminding Trump of the constitutional requirements that protect legal immigrants and their families. "President Trump, you need India, and India needs you. Now is the time to honor the faithfulness of Indians who stood by you," Dr. Paul stated.

In a sharp critique of Indian leadership, Dr. Paul expressed disappointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telugu state Chief Ministers for their lack of intervention in supporting Indians facing uncertainty in the U.S. He called upon them to take diplomatic steps to address the issue and stand up for their citizens abroad. Furthermore, he accused China of economic domination, its role in the COVID-19 pandemic, and its aggressive actions against India, calling for legal action to hold China accountable for its global impact.

Dr. Paul encouraged the Indian diaspora in the U.S. to remain hopeful, pray for Trump’s support, and actively participate in his movement for immigrant advocacy. He announced major gatherings in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., rallying Indian communities to unite and take a stand for their rights. "We will not fail. Do not lose hope. Pray, act, and stand together, and we will make a difference," he urged.

Dr. Paul reiterated his commitment to safeguarding the rights and futures of Indians in the U.S., vowing to continue his advocacy on their behalf. He urged global leaders, including Trump, to recognize the value of Indian immigrants and called for a collaborative effort to secure their legal status and well-being. With his extensive experience in global diplomacy and political strategy, Dr. Paul remains a strong voice for the Indian community abroad. His press conference today marked another crucial step in his ongoing mission to protect and empower Indian immigrants in the United States.
