New Delhi : Around 4800 elected MPs and MLAs will cast their vote today to elect the 15th President of India – NDA has placed Draupadi Murmu against Opposition's Yashwant Sinha.

It is expected that Draupadi Murmu will have an easy win against Yashwant Sinha with more than 60 per cent votes going in her favour. The polling will be held in the Parliament House and state legislative assemblies.

In the absence of Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, the voting number of MPs has gone down to 700 from 708.

The counting of votes will be done on July 21 and the next President will take oath on July 25.
