New Delhi : Hardik Pandya played well with both bat and ball as team India scored 5-wicket victory over England in the third ODI; helping him was Rishabh Pant who scored his maiden century in the game. With this India has sealed the three-match series 2-1.

With the ball, Hardik Pandya scored 4 wickets by giving away just 24 runs; Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets and restricted the English side for a mere score of 259 runs in 45.5 overs.

Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Jos Buttler to bat first. England started off well but kept on losing the wickets at regular interval. The skipper played the vital knock of 60 runs of 80 balls to ensure a respectable total of 259 runs.

Chasing the total, India was in a great trouble as it lost its 4 wickets for a mere total of 72 runs in 16.2 overs. Then Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant took control of the game and stitched 133 runs to ensure victory for team India.

Rishabh Pant was seen playing an aggressive cricket as he scored his maiden century and achieved the total in 42.1 overs.
