Faridabad reports first case of coronavirus, Haryana's total tally reaches 17
Faridabad : Delhi's neighbourhood city Faridabad has reported its first case of coronavirus on Friday. A woman has been tested positive to Covid-19 - a deadly viral that has infected 250 Indians and has killed four.
The first positive case in Faridabad was confirmed by District Deputy Commissioner Yashpal Yadav.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases in Haryana has reached to 17, including 14 foreigners who are getting treatment in Gurugram.
Across the globe, the coronavirus has claimed over 9000 lives and has infected over 2 lakh people.
On Thursday night, PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation and asked people to stay indoor for the maximum time.
He has also urged the nation to observe a 14-hour-long Janata Curfew between 7 am and 9 pm on Sunday, March 22.
