FIR against Congress for portraying PM Modi as Raavan
Amethi : A FIR has been filed against a Congress leader Rama Shankar Shukla in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly portraying his party president Rahul Gandhi as Lord Rama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Raavan.
The posters were seen at several spots in Amethi, two days before Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the place.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Surya Prakash Tiwari has filed the FIR against the Congress leader, reported ANI news agency.

In the poster, that has been circulated widely across Amethi shows Rahul Gandhi carrying a bow and an arrow, pointing towards Modi. Rahul is an incarnation of Lord Ram who will bring Ram Rajya by winning the general elections in 2019, defeating Modi, a Zee News report said.
This is the first time Rahul Gandhi is in Amethi after getting promoted as the President of the party.
Rahul is scheduled to hold a roadshow and a padyatra from Musafirkhana on Tuesday in an effort to reach out to the people of his constituency, News18 reported. Thereafter, he will move towards Gauriganj, Jagdishpur and Mohanganj before finally going back to Lucknow.
