Five coaches of Kurla-Ambarnath local derails in Mumbai

Mumbai :  It's been a horrid week for Indian Railways. In two days, it has suffered two derailments. In the wee hours on Thursday, Five coaches of Kurla-Ambarnath local train derailed near Kalyan in Mumbai suburbs. However, No injuries have been reported.

At 5:53 am, five coaches of a Kurla bound local train derailed near between Kalyan-Vithalwadi station.

No injuries ahve been reported but train services along the route have been temporarily suspended. Howver, Local train services between Ambernath and Karjat have now been restored after few hours.

Central Railway also requested the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal corporation to run extra buses between Kalyan and Ambarnath and CST-Kalyan to facilitate commuters during the peak hours.

On Wednesday, Sealdah-Ajmer Express derailed in Kanpur, leaving more than 60 injured.
