Harassed on Valentines Day, Kerala youth commits suicide

Kerala : A Kerala youth, victim of moral policing, committed suicide after a week he and his female friend were assaulted by five men for sitting at a beach on Valentine's Day.

The body of boy, identified as Aneesh, was found hanging in his house, it has been learned that he was disturbed with the incident that filmed and also shared over the social media.

The 'moral police' allegedly had video filmed the couple on mobile phone and had circulated the video over Facebook and Whatsapp.

According to police, Aneesh was suffering from depression post that incident and had also ditched going to work since.

A suicide note has also been recovered which names two men, who have been booked by the cops under murder charges.
