Home Minister not tested for coronavirus: MHA clarifies after false negative reports (Image: The Tribune)

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was tested positive for coronavirus on last Sunday, has not been tested again for the coronavirus, Ministry of Home Affairs clarified after some media reports claimed that he has been tested negative.

Earlier, BJP leader Manoj Tiwari had tweeted that Amit Shah has tested negative for the coronavirus infection. "Home Minister Amit Shah ji’s COVID report came negative," tweeted the BJP MP from Delhi.

Home Minister Amit Shah is currently admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. His health is stable and he will be tested soon again.

If his report comes negative then he will be discharged from the hospital.
