IMD predicts light to moderate rains on Wednesday

New Delhi : Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall on Wednesday with a minimum temperature of 27 degrees and maximum temperature of 37 degrees.

For Wednesday, the weather department had issued an 'orange alert', which signifies moderate rainfall with scattered clouds. IMD has four colour codes – Green (No need to take any action), Yellow (Stay alert and be cautious), Orange (Be prepared), and Red (Take actions).

Monsoon Arrival in Delhi

Monsoon had arrived in Delhi on June 30, 2022 to provide a huge relief from the scorching heat.

With monsoon rains, the Air Quality Index (AQI) had also improved to 158. AQI from 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 is considered okay, 101-. AQI from 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 is considered okay, 101-200 is considered moderate, 201-300 falls under poor category, 301-400 under very poor and above that comes under severe category.
