India opts for surgical strikes to neutralize terrorists across Line of Control

New Delhi : India on Thursday carried out surgical strike across the "Line of Control" in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to neutralize terrorists who were getting ready to infiltrate and attack Kashmir.
The strike was carried out at seven different terrorist bases spread in 2-kilo-meter range, scores of terrorists have been killed.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. on the other hand, has rubbished all reports of surgical strikes and has claimed that his 2-3 soldiers have died in cross-border firing.

# With a motive to destabilize terrorists at different launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, India carried out surgical strike across Line of Control.

# Surgical strikes were carried out in 2 km range of LoC from 12 am to before sunrise.
# Lt General Ranbir Singh also informed Pakistan about the move in the morning after the exercise was concluded.
# Pakistan has termed India's announcement as a lie and has claimed that few soldiers have lost their lives in cross-border firing.
# India, on a safer side, has filmed the whole incident and claims that footage will be released at the right time.
# Premier Nawaz Sharif said he condemns "the unprovoked and naked aggression of Indian forces" and the Pakistani army warned that if Indian troops cross the border, it will strike back.
# Pakistan had also summoned Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale.
# Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif has called for a joint session of Parliament on October 5.
