Men on bike shoot journalist in Bihar

Patna : Two days after famous journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh was shot dead outside her residence in Bengaluru, another incident of attack on a journalist in Bihar has been reported.

Unidentified men came on two-wheeler and started firing gun shots at the journalist in Bihar; luckily he turned out to be a miss target and was left injured.

Journalist Pankaj Mishra was shot at in Arwal district; he has been admitted at Patna Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.

Pankaj Mishra works for Rashtriya Sahara newspaper.

Arwal superintendent of police Dilip Kumar said Pankaj Mishra was shot by two persons from his village. The attack happened when he was leaving bank with Rs 1 lakh cash which was robbed by them.

One of the alleged accused has been arrested by the police who have termed this case of personal enmity.
