Mobile internet services restored completely in Assam

Guwahati : Mobile internet services have been restored completely in Assam, reports news agency ANI.

The services had been suspended on December 11 in wake of possible protests in the state against the passage of Citizenship Bill.

A couple of violent protests were reported in Assam, following which a curfew was imposed and the government phased out things in a time-bound manner to ensure peace and calmness.

Meanwhile, violent protests have been reported in the national capital. Students of Jamia Millia Islamia University were reported getting violent and clashing with the police officials during their protest.

Thousands of the students have been detained in last couple of days.
