Mumbai: Bomb threat call to Taj Hotel from Pakistan, security beefed

Mumbai : Security around Taj Hotel in Mumbai has been increased after a call from Pakistan threatened of bombing the iconic hotel.

The calls have been traced to Karachi (Pakistan) with caller identified as the member of LeT, said Mumbai Police.

The bomb threat was made for the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Colaba and the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra. 

Due to ongoing lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, both the hotels are not operational. But, the Mumbai Police is not taking a chance and has beefed up security around them.
