New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the nation is saddened with an insult to the tricolor on the Republic Day. He expressed his thoughts during his monthly radio address 'Mann Ki Baat'.

Reclaiming his stance on the farm laws, PM Modi said that his government is committed in mordernizing the farming in the nation and "the efforts will continue in the future as well."

In his radio address he spoke about the events happened in January, including India’s victory in Australia and the violence happened on the day of tractor rally.

“Amid all this, the country was saddened by insult to the Tricolour. We have to infuse times to come with new hope and novelty. Last year, we displayed exemplary patience and courage. This year too, we have to work hard to attain our resolves,” he said.

He also lauded India’s coronavirus vaccination program and mentioned how the nation successfully managed to execute world’s biggest vaccination drive.
