New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on Tuesday announced that class 10 and class 12 examinations will be held from May 4 this year; students will have to appear in all the examinations in offline mode.

Class 10 exams will end on June 7 and Class 12 exams will end on June 11; the practical examinations will start from March 1.

According to the released date sheet, Class 12 examinations on four days will be held in two shifts - the first will be from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, and the second will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

All examinations for Class 10 will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.

It must be noted that all the examinations will be held in the offline mode amid COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

The results for the examinations will be announced on July 15.

Moments before the date sheet for examinations was officially announced, the education minister had said, "Please be assured that we have done our best to ensure these exams go smoothly for you. Wish you good luck!"
