NDMC begins fight against smog in Delhi, VVIP areas preferred

New Delhi : To free New Delhi from the chocking smog, NDMC started its drive on Monday to settle dust particles with the help of sprinkling water, as promised by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday.
Interestingly, the drive to fight smog with sprinkling water started from the VVIP areas.
National Green Tribunal had asked both New Delhi government and also the Centre about measures they are taking to make Delhi smog free as soon as possible.

Delhi government has also been asked to sprinkle water through helicopters if required to settle dust and carbon particles in the air.
The high amount of smog was registered in Delhi air post Diwali celebrations on Sunday.
