UP cops suspended for showering money on dancers
New Delhi : A police constable and an officer have been suspended for showering money on dancers while they were on duty. The cops were seen dancing on Hindi songs during an event where they were deployed to maintain law and order.
Video of cops dancing and showering money had gone viral on the social media, bringing the matter to light.
"Every year, the event takes place for three days. We have seen the video and ordered an inquiry. The two cops seen in the clip have been suspended and investigations are underway," a police officer told news agency ANI.

In the video, cops can be seen matching steps with the dancers dressed in glittery outfits. A probe has been ordered in the matter and cops are also being checked to know if they had consumed alcohol during duty hours.
