Raped by cousins, 15-year-old girl gets pregnant

Sonepat : Raped several times by two cousins, a 15-year-old girl spoke about the dilemma after she was found seven months pregnant.

One of the two accused has been arrested while one is still on the run, says police.

The incident, reported from a village in Sonepat’s Kharkhoda block, came to light after the family took the girl to a hospital after she complained stomach ache on July 29.

Post check up, the victim narrated her ordeal to her mother.

The girl was first raped in December and then continuously amid threats that if she refuses or informs anyone then they will kill her family.

The cops have registered a case under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the two.

Kharkhoda station house officer (SHO) Pradeep Singh said the arrested boy was produced in court which sent him to the juvenile home.
