New Delhi : Bollywood Actor Salman Khan who was convicted in the blackbuck pouching case, has been imprisoned in barrack number 2 of Jodhpur Central Jail. He has been tagged as Qaidi (prisoner) No. 106 and is locked up in the same barrack where rape-accused Asharam Bapu has been jailed.

The ‘Tiger’ of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has been kept alone in the cell and nobody is allowed to meet him. There is heavy security arrangement in the jail due to his presence. Besides, the actor has his own special guards in jail.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan spent his first night at Jodhpur Central Jail as Qaidi (prisoner) No. 106, after a court found him guilty of killing two endangered blackbuck 20 years ago and sentenced him to five years in jail.

After the court ordered for 5 years imprisonment, Salman was rushed to the Jodhpur Jail. He had to go through medical examination which highlighted a little increase in Blood Pressure. However, the pressure normalised within a short while. Sources confirmed that ‘Bhaijan’s’ facial appearance was enough to state the tension and depression he was going though.

In the first night at Jodhpur lock up, he was served a plate full of ‘daal’,’ chapati’, ‘rice’ and  a cabbage item; though, he refused to have his dinner. He was given blanket and mosquito net too. Jodhpur DIG (Prisons) Vikram Singh said that Khan had made no demands or special requests - including for drinking water. The actor will receive his jail uniform today.
