Tejasv Bhardwaj: Leading the Charge to Connect Indian Diaspora Youth with Modi's ‘Viksit Bharat’ Vision

New Delhi : Tejasv Bhardwaj, a 22-year-old from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is making waves on global stage as President of the Youth Overseas Friends of BJP (YOFBJP) UK. Entrusted with this pivotal role, Tejasv is spearheading efforts to unite young Indians living abroad with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).

The inauguration of YOFBJP UK in London marks a historic step toward engaging Indian diaspora youth under 35 in India’s socio-economic and political narrative. The event was graced by Vijay Chauthaiwale, head of BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department, and Shishir Bajoria, UK-Europe in-charge of OFBJP, both of whom flew in from Delhi to lend their support to this groundbreaking initiative.

Tejasv, currently pursuing his education at King’s College London, brings a unique blend of academic excellence and grassroots social work experience to his role. A passionate advocate for education and youth empowerment, Tejasv has transformed YOFBJP UK into a vibrant and structured platform. His leadership aims to bridge the generational gap between Indian youth abroad and their cultural roots, while empowering them to actively contribute to India’s growth story.

Joining Tejasv in this mission is Kartik Agarwal, a fellow Meerut native and student at the London School of Economics (LSE), who has been appointed Vice-President of YOFBJP UK. Together, they are creating a dynamic network to provide young Indians overseas with opportunities to stay connected to their homeland, its rich heritage, and its progressive policies.

To amplify their outreach, YOFBJP UK has launched an official website, offering a digital hub for young Indian diaspora members to engage in meaningful discussions, access resources, and participate in initiatives aligned with India’s development goals.

For Indian youth abroad, who often feel a sense of detachment from their roots while pursuing global opportunities, YOFBJP UK offers a powerful connection to their cultural heritage and an active role in shaping India’s future. Under Tejasv Bhardwaj’s visionary leadership, this initiative not only strengthens the bond between the diaspora and India but also inspires the next generation to contribute to the nation’s journey toward becoming a global powerhouse.

Tejasv’s story is a testament to the energy, ambition, and potential of young Indians, and his efforts resonate deeply with the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat.’
