Faridabad : A fresh chapter of greenery has started in Dayalpur village, Faridabad, where thousands of saplings are being planted under a tree plantation initiative. The project, led by Imperial Auto Industries Limited in partnership with the National Human Welfare Council, is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Since the initiative began in November 2024, volunteers have already planted hundreds of trees across the area.

Imperial Auto has set a target of planting 10,000 trees this year, and the Council is working steadily to meet that goal. Council President Gunjan Mehta thanked the company for its support and said the team identified Dayalpur as an ideal location after consulting with the village head and local residents, who welcomed the effort.

With help from locals, the Council selected a four-acre land known as the Herbal Park, unused since 2018, for the plantation. After receiving formal permission, the team cleared one acre and prepared the land. Within a month, the team completed the groundwork and began large-scale plantation.

The Council is now preparing to host a major plantation event on June 5, World Environment Day, and has invited Imperial Auto to take part in the program.

In addition to planting saplings, the initiative aims to engage local residents and increase awareness about environmental care and tree conservation.
