Lubna Asif condemns Pahalgam terror attack, calls for strong action to preserve national unity and communal harmony

New Delhi : Lubna Asif, National President of the All India Minorities Front (AIMF), has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Describing the incident as “barbaric and inhuman,” she expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and extended her heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.

“This attack isn’t just on tourists—it’s an attack on the spirit of Kashmir and the unity of India,” Ms. Asif said. “Targeting civilians to disrupt peace and harmony is an act of cowardice that demands strict and immediate action.”

She voiced her full support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India in their efforts to combat terrorism, and urged the Prime Minister to ensure the swift punishment of those responsible.

“I appeal to Modiji to take decisive action and ensure that the perpetrators are not spared. The nation stands united in grief—and in resolve,” she added.

Ms. Asif also stressed the importance of maintaining communal harmony and called on all citizens to stand together against those who seek to disturb peace in the region.

The AIMF continues to support all efforts that strengthen national unity and protect the rights and safety of every Indian, regardless of religion or region.
