Uttarakhand Polls 2017: BJP releases vision document

New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party released its poll manifesto for upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly Elections in the form of 'vision document'. Attracting announcements have been made in it with a special mention that the hill state is special for the saffron party as it was created when Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister.

In the vision document, the party has offered government jobs for the youth, Lokayukta act and roads connecting villages to the cities by 2019. In addition, laptops and smartphones will also be given to the meritorious students if BJP comes to power.

"We as a party are committed to the all-round development of the state and are hopeful that the people of the state will give the BJP a chance to form the government again and take the state to the position it deserves," the Union Minister stated.

The state will be going to polls on February 16, 2017.
