Watch: Elderly woman scolds bikers riding on footpath

New Delhi : In case of traffic and road jams, bikers are often seen taking the vehicle on footpath to skip the traffic jam. But, an elderly woman got annoyed watching the bikers on the footpath and took things in her hand by scolding them.

In a video that has been shared on social media, the woman identified as Nirmala Gokhale was caught standing on a footpath and policing riders who took their two-wheelers on the footpath.

Roads of Mumbai, shared the video of the incident and said, "This aunty from Pune is an inspiration to many. Well done Ma’am. Shame on Bikers who ride on footpaths. It’s sad to see senior citizens have to do the job what traffic police is supposed to do in our country."

In the video, she can be seen telling the bikers that "if you want to continue on the footpath you will have to hit me and go. Else get down and ride on the road."

Her actions were praised by the Pune Police too with a promise that they will take the matter forward in their own way.
