"What is this gimmick?" Asks Manish Sisodia on CBI lookout notice
New Delhi : Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called CBI lookout notice a "gimmick", claiming that he is roaming freely everywhere why CBI is not able to find him.
"All your raids have failed, no fraud of money was found in them, now a look out notice has been issued. What is all this drama Modi ji? I am roaming in Delhi and CBI is unable to find me," Deputy CM Manish Sisodia wrote on Twitter while taking a swipe at PM Narendra Modi.
His remarks came hours after a lookout notice was issued by the CBI, barring him from travelling abroad. The agency is currently investigating a suspected corruption case with the Delhi's new liquor policy.
CBI has named Manish Sisodia as accuse in the FIR lodged under sections 120B (Criminal Conspiracy) and 477A (Falsification of accounts) of the IPC. He has been alleged of giving exemption of Rs 30 crore to a liquor businessman.
