Laal Singh Chaddha: Despite boycott, Aamir Khan's movie reaches Rs 50-crore-mark

Mumbai : Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office Collection: Amid boycott calls, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie has managed to touch the Rs 50-crore-mark in about eight days of its release.

Aamir Khan has returned to the big screens almost after four years with Laal Singh Chaddha and had high expectations from the movie but has not performed as per expectations and is struggling at the Box Office. 

After eight days of its official release, the movie has earned Rs 50-crore. It is expected that by the end of the second week, the movie will make about 55 crores. 

Considering new releases scheduled for the next week, the movie's overall business can end up around Rs 75 crores. Taapsee Pannu's "Dobara" and Ananya Pandey's "Liger" are scheduled to release in the upcoming week.

Another big star of Bollywood who is facing the heat of flop movies is Akshay Kumar. His movie Raksha Bandhan was released with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha; Akshay's movie has performed even worse and did not cross even the 40-crore mark at the same time.
