Xi Jinping gets a lavish welcome from Narendra Modi, signs three MoU

• On Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi garnished a lavish welcome to Chinese President Xi Jinping
• Both will be going to summit on Tuesday in Delhi to reboot political and economic ties
• On his first visit Xi landed in Gujarat 
• Anandiben welcomed him at the airport and then Modi took him on a whirlwind business-cum-leisure trip 
• Both the prime leaders enjoyed a lavish Gujarati vegetarian dinner on the picturesque Sabarmati river front.
• Xi also ran the charkha, the spinning wheel Mahatma Gandhi to popularise Khadi. 
• India and China on Wednesday signed three Memoranda of Understanding ( MoUs)
• The first MoU signed was related to setting up of the industrial park in Gujarat
• The second one was the sister city pact between China's Guangzhou and Ahmedabad related to developing the model state
• The third MOU was signed between Guangzhou and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation related to sister city relations.
