Congress celebrates April Fool's day as 'Jumla Divas', says Rs 15 lakh credited to your accounts

New Delhi : The Congress on Sunday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party by terming April Fool's day as 'Jumla Divas'.

Rahul Gandhi-led Congress posted a mocking video along with some pictures and sarcastic comments on the social media websites.

The video focuses several promises made by BJP during 2014 campaigns and is yet to be fulfilled. It says Rs 15 lakhs have been deposited to the account of every citizen.

The video also mocks BJP's Clean India movement by linking it to PNB fraud and Nirav Modi.

The attack on BJP continued as video ended by saying that the central government has provided 200 crore jobs because of which even aliens from Mars have started to work in India.

In one of the pictures shared on Twitter, Congress remarked, “Thanks to the Modi government for eradicating corruption from the very roots. Jay Shah too says thanks.”

Congress had been mocking BJP since past few months over the promises they failed to deliver. It would be interesting to see if such aggressive attacks could bring Congress some votes in 2019 General Elections.
