Lok Sabha Election 2019: EC warns Mukhtar Abbas over 'Modi Ji Ki Sena' remark
Rampur : The Election Commission on Thursday issued a warning to Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi over his 'Modi Ji Ki Sena' remark made during a rally in Rampur. The poll body asked him to not use references to security forces for political agendas.
"The Commission, hereby warns Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi to desist from using the references to defence forces for political propaganda and to be careful in future," the order read.
State election authorities have also issued a show cause notice to the leader. In response, he had admitted that he had used the phrase.

A couple of weeks back a similar remark was made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath; he was also warned by the Election Commission and was also asked to remain careful in the future.
On Monday, the EC banned Adityanath from taking part in election campaign for 48 hours.
