Modi 2.0 wave sweeps India, reaches 350 mark to claim majority

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done it again, he swiped up the Opposition with a massive win of 350 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Election 2019.

Starting with the strong trends, the BJP completed its poll battle with expected 300 mark, while its alliance took its tally to 350 mark with an ease. The results got mileage with BJP performing in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, where it had to face difficulties during the assembly elections in 2018.

In March this year, BJP chief Amit Shah had claimed that he will be focusing in fetching over 300 seats in the elections. And when the Lok Sabha Election 2019 results are out, the party cannot stop praising his efforts and policies.

The BJP did extremely well in the Hindi heartland, its strong bastions, as well as in the east and in the west. Both in Odisha and West Bengal, the two states where the BJP and its president Amit Shah have focussed to expand the party’s base, it is doing well.

The Rahul Gandhi-led Congress’ performance got dismal, with the party struggling in both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, where the party has won assembly elections just four months ago.

The only relief for the Congress was in Punjab and Kerala, where the party-led UDF sweeped the poll.
