Rahul can hug PM, but India will not hug him in 2019: BJP

New Delhi : Taking dig on Congress President Rahul Gandhi's hug, the BJP on Sunday said that he can hug PM Narendra Modi but India will not hug in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

BJP national media incharge Anil Baluni posted a series of tweet attacking Rahul Gandhi post Congress Working Committee meeting.

He also claimed that Congress is deciding to contest on only 150 Lok Sabha seats while Rahul Gandhi dreams of becoming a Prime Minister of India. "Heard that desperate and disappointed Congress at its meeting today has set a target of contesting 150 Lok Sabha seats, while its president Rahul Gandhi is dreaming to become prime minister," Baluni tweeted in Hindi.

Speaking over Rahul Gandhi's hug to PM Narendra Modi during No Trust Motion, he said it was done forcibly. "Rahulji, you forcibly hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament but people will not hug you in the 2019 general election. You should prepare yourself for bringing a no-confidence motion in 2024," he tweeted.
