Sikkim Man dupes Miss Teen India 2022 for 6 Lakh Rupees, mother shares ordeal, Miss Teen Org sends notice

Teen India Productions, a Noida based pageant and talent firm has alleged in a notice sent to Sikkim based David Rai, CEO of Sikkim Glamour world/State Director that he impersonated the parent organization for financial misdeeds. David is alleged to have collected 6 lakh rupees from Miss Teen india 2022 Sahara Hungma Subba's mother without taking consent from the parent organization, the Teen India. Her mother said, "David asked me for 8 lakh rupees to send my daughter for an international fashion show in the USA. We gave him 6 lakh rupees. Now he is using my daughter's pictures without any consent and royalty. My daughter has suffered depression. We have faced a lot. Now we want justice."

In a notice send to David, Jasmeet Kaur said, "In 2020 Teen India Productions Private Limited collaborated with Glamour World/State Director through David Rai being the CEO of Sikkim Glamour world/State Director via franchise agreement and named it as “Teen India Sikkim” which was official baby pageants of Jasmeet Productions, Teen India. That the Franchise was given to you the addresse to represent the state at the biggest national pageant of India for Teenagers, Teen India and if the representatives wins the National Pageant at Noida, which is ‘Teen India’ they will get the golden opportunity to represent the nation at the biggest international pageants around the world."

Notice to cease and desist from using the name and logo of Teen India in the upcoming event which is scheduled to be held on 11.12.2022; To pay unpaid amount of Rs. 8,00,000/- as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the agreement; To tender unconditional apology towards Teen India in all leading newspapers as well as electronic media and on all of the social media platforms currently being operated by David.
