Dead cockroach found in a meal at Elante Mall food court

Chandigarh : A man ordered fried rice in a restaurant at Elante Mall in Chandigarh, he allegedly was served the dish with a dead cockroach in it which the staff claimed is an onion. The incident comes to light almost a month after a lizard was found in a chholey bhature meal ordered from a famous eatery in the same mall.

Mr Anil Kumar has filed the complaint with the police against the dead cockroach in his meal. According to him, the police has confirmed action against the restaurant only after the results of the food sample will arrive.

The food court in Elante Mall is directly owned by Ayaan Foods and the eatery is also directly managed by them.

Meanwhile, there are reports which claimed that the Ayaan Foods owner has alleged a conspiracy against them by the mall management.

On June 14, a lizard was found in the plate of chholey bhature ordered by a customer in Sagar Ratna.
