2539 new coronavirus cases reported in India in last 24 hours

New Delhi : A little more than 2500 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in India in the last 24 hours. With this the total number of coronavirus cases have 4,30,01,477. The total number of deaths stand at 5,16,132.

According to official data by the Health Ministry, the active cases in India account to 0.8 per cent of the total positive cases. The COVID-19 recovery rate in India has improved to 98.72 per cent.

With 4491 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries in India stand at 4,24,54,546.

The fatality rate in the nation now stands at 1.20 per cent. 

7,17,330 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
