Noida's NIIMS Hospital becomes 'Corona Isolation Center'

New Delhi : People across the country are worried about the Corona (COVID-19) epidemic. People are forced to live in homes. Increasing numbers of patients are coming out as sad news every second. But in the meantime, a news from Uttar Pradesh's Noida district has brought a message of relief. Noida's famous private hospital Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS) is being built as an 'isolation center' to care for patients in Corona.

This decision has been taken after a meeting between Mr. BN Singh, District Officer of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Dr. Devesh Singh, Chairman of NIIMS Hospital and Chancellor of Noida International University. Keeping in view the current adverse circumstances, NIIMS officers have spontaneously dedicated their hospital premises and resources to public service for the corona related epidemic in public interest.

This hospital adjacent to Yamuna Expressway has 300 beds and all modern treatment facilities. This hospital is located on the campus of Noida International University, the famous private university of Noida.

Shri BN Singh District Officer Gautam Buddha Nagar readily accepted this proposal. The district administration expressed appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Devesh Singh, Chairman of Noida International University and former Cabinet Minister and MLC Thakur Jayveer Singh Ji.
