The appeal often starts with the first impression, where people around you decide if you're worth spending any time or invite for a relationship. Here are some smart tips and tricks to make your first impression last one and have people admire you as quickly as possible.

The author of a popular book ‘How to Make People Like You in 90 Seconds or Less’, Nicholas Boothman, highlights a few tips to instantly appeal and impress someone you just met.

Show some body language so as to have positive approach. A perfect body language speaks volumes and can affect the length and quality of personal interactions. 

Don't stand lazy or too low. Don't cover your heart with your hands or arms.

Boothman says, "When you meet someone for the first time you can be curious, enthusiastic, inquiring, helpful, engaging, and/or warm."

Initiate eye contact which can be a bit challenging. Boothman told that he always looks people in the eye and notes their eye color.

Be the first one to smile, which sends the message that you're sincere. Smiling gives people the impression that you're trustworthy.

Start conversation with a simple "hello", "hi," or "hey". Next, shake your hands and try to say your name. Names are a huge part of our identity and it feels great when people use it.

Don't tilt forward so much that you lose your balance and topple over, but lean enough to convey interest in what the other person is saying and what they're all about.
