Cushionless seats on Indigo plane goes viral, airline responds

New Delhi : How would you feel when you will get to see no cushions on your allotted seats in an aeroplane? Devastated, cheated and may be worse. Same happened with two passengers on Bengaluru-Bhopal flight operated by Indigo Airlines as they get to see cushions missing from their seat. The concern was immediately reported by the passenger and shared on social media platform X. Later, the airline has come up with a response everyone should read.

Yavanika Raj Shah, a passenger on the plane, was shocked to see missing cushions from the two seats of an aeroplane and posted about it on social media. She also added a picture of the cushionless seats in her post.

As the social media post went viral, the airline came up with a response to explain the situation which is very common during the transit flights.

"Beautiful @IndiGo6E — I do hope I land safely! This is your flight from Bengaluru to Bhopal 6E 6465," wrote Shah in the caption of the post. 

IndiGo also took to the comments section and wrote, "Ma'am, thank you for speaking with us. The seat cushions were replaced prior to the flight for cleaning purposes. Our cabin crew promptly informed the customers who were allotted these seats. This is a standard practice for cleaning during transit as and when required. We are committed to providing the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to our customers."
