United Airlines plane tyre flies away soon after plane take-off, video viral on social media

Los Angeles : Shortly after take-off, a Boeing 777 had to make an emergency landing as a tyre went off and plunged into an airport parking lot. The video of incident has been shared on social media, which is now getting viral.

According to received information, the incident happened at San Francisco International Airport in the USA.

As seen in the video, the wheel bounced out of the aeroplane and went into a car parking lot soon after the United Airlines plane took off from the runway. According to media reports, the wheel landed over several cars and damaged them. Check out the video below:

At the time of take-off, United Airlines was carrying more than 249 people on board, which was bound for Japan.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported in the incident while United Airlines explained that Boeing’s 777 has six wheels on each of its main landing struts, and is designed in a way that it can land safely even if one or two tyres are missing from the lot.
