In a celebration of art, tradition, and youth talent, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh launched the Nrityamrit report during the Rangpravesham of Shambhavi Sharma, organised by Natya Tarangini at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi. The event was graced by Member of Parliament Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy and the eminent Padma Shri Gurus Raja and Radha Reddy.The evening began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, joined by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Gurus Raja and Radha Reddy, and Shambhavi’s parents, Shri Kundan Kumar and Smt. Palka Sahni.Under the tutelage of her Gurus, Shambhavi presented four mesmerising Kuchipudi performances, each reflecting precision, devotion, and the timeless beauty of classical dance. Impressed by her artistic journey and commitment to social good, the Raksha Mantri unveiled Shambhavi’s “Nrityamrit” report, which chronicles her initiative to use dance as a medium of healing and therapy.Expressing his admiration, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy shared: "My own daughter Atisha has learned under the same Gurus, and watching Shambhavi evolve over the years fills me with immense pride. When I first met her, she was shorter than my table, and today she stands tall as a trained Kuchipudi dancer who embodies years of discipline and devotion."A Class 12 student at Sanskriti School, New Delhi, Shambhavi Sharma blends artistic expression with social impact. Through Nrityamrit, she brings healing and joy to hospitals and underprivileged communities using the power of Kuchipudi dance. Her sessions provide mental peace and emotional comfort to patients, while she also conducts weekly dance classes for underprivileged children. Since August 2024, Shambhavi’s efforts have touched the lives of over 45 individuals across Delhi.The event also featured a special video presentation showcasing Shambhavi’s journey — a testament to discipline, practice, and her deep reverence for art. Each movement and rhythm on stage reflected Natya Tarangini’s long-standing legacy of nurturing young artists and preserving India’s classical dance heritage.Reflecting on the evening, Shambhavi said, "It is overwhelming to see the support from every corner during my journey of dance.
