New Delhi : Coronavirus pandemic hampered countries which had major segment of their economy dependent on tourism industry. Now, when things are returning to normal, tourist places are also opening and trying to lure tourists from across the globe. World's longest glass bridge in Vietnam is among the latest to open for tourists.

Vietnam has opened a new tourist attraction the Bach Long Bridge in Son La, north-west Vietnam; it is the world's longest glass bottom bridge that can easily give a heart attack to weak heart people. The bridge has been constructed at a height of 150 meters over a lush green jungle.

About Bach Long Bridge in Vietnam

The glass-bottom bridge has a total length of 632 metres; the pedestrian bridge is believed to be comprised of three layers of 40mm thick French-made tempered glass that can carry up to 450 people at a time. The bridge has surpassed China's bridge in Guangdong which is 526 metres long.

The Guinness Book of world record will verify the claim in coming month.

It is expected that the glass bridge will create an excitement among the tourists and they will visit the nation, eventually to increase the tourism.
