Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin recently announced that they have decided to step down from their posts and India's Sundar Pichai will be taking over as the CEO of Alphabet, the parent company of Google. It may be noted that Page and Brin stepped down from their positions of Alphabet CEO and President, respectively, on Tuesday (December 3).

With Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepping down from their posts, India's Sundar Pichai had been given a new set of responsibilities, zooming his work portfolio.
